Food allergies are an increasingly common health problem in dogs. Symptoms of food allergies usually include skin changes and itching, and less commonly, symptoms related to the digestive system. 

It contains one type of protein – horse meat (exclusively muscle meat) – and the right amount of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, which help reduce inflammation and have a soothing effect on the entire body. It contains no grains or preservatives, and its short list of ingredients, only one type of protein and no common allergens (wheat, beef, chicken, eggs, yeast) makes Luporia Allergic ideal for introducing an elimination diet.

Horse meat is a less popular meat and, together with ostrich and kangaroo meat, is used in elimination diets and for the regular feeding of allergy sufferers.

The pumpkin and carrots contained in the composition are vegetables that rarely cause allergies in dogs and are an excellent source of many vitamins, minerals and dietary fibre.

Inulin is a prebiotic whose role is to support the population of beneficial bacterial cultures present in the canine digestive system – Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium. Nourished bifidobacteria contribute to better bowel function and a stronger immune system.

Feeding recommendations: Allow for a transition period and adjust the amount of food to your pet's needs. Serve the food at room temperature and provide drinking water.
